As you may be aware, Dahua Technology acquired FLIR’s SMB business in 2018. We are rolling out this update to certain FLIR-branded SMB systems. It will be necessary to update your FLIR Cloud app to the latest version as well as the firmware of your devices in order to continue uninterrupted service.
To make sure your FLIR Cloud app is up-to-date, search for the FLIR Cloud in the App/Play store and install the latest version. Moreover, you may get a pop-up message in the FLIR Cloud app when a new version of firmware is available — please upgrade it right away.
While we have thoroughly tested the update process, as with any change there may be a few unexpected interruptions to customer devices. To minimize any inconvenience to our customers, we have added significant customer support staff who will be able to quickly assist you with any issue that may arise.
