Lower Cost and Increased Flexibility
HDCVI technology lowers total cost of ownership by leveraging existing infrastructure. By simplifying system design and mitigating rip-and-replacement costs to install a new IP infrastructure, HDCVI multi-format cameras deliver greater performance at a lower overall cost.
For existing systems that use competing analog technologies, Dahua cameras feature a convenient multi-format video output cable on the camera’s pigtail to make switching between AHD, TVI, and CVBS as well as existing HDCVI systems easy.
4K HDCVI ultra-high resolution cameras are ideal for capturing video in scenes that require fine details. With the ability to digitally zoom, details are maintained at further distances.
Dahua 4K Penta-brid DVRs records 8 MP resolution at up to 15 fps on each HDCVI channel. The DVR integrates into any existing system and seamlessly records video from HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP sources simultaneously.
HDCVI technology guarantees real-time transmission over long distances without loss of video quality. HDCVI devices provide the same resolution as most IP network camera systems using existing RG-59, RG-6, or CAT 6 UTP cabling.
Pure Coax installations without a connection to the internet offer the highest level of cybersecurity.
Take Coax Further Than Before.

HDCVI Night Color
Dahua’s Night Color Camera Series offers a back-illuminated, CMOS structure for optimal sensitivity in low-light scenes.
Thanks to a large aperture, a higher amount of absorbed light is filtered for up to 2-4x’s the brightness of a standard IR Starlight camera. Requiring as little as 1.0 lux ambient light, nighttime images are captured in vivid color for better identification.
Delivers vivid images, even in the most intense contrast lighting conditions. For applications with both bright and low lighting conditions, True WDR (120 dB) optimizes both bright and dark areas at the same time to provide usable video.
HDCVI technology simultaneously transmits video, audio and data over a single coaxial cable. Dual-way data transmission allows the HDCVI camera to communicate with an HCVR to send control signals or to trigger alarms.
HDCVI technology guarantees real-time transmission over long distances without loss of video quality. HDCVI cameras provide the same resolution as most IP network camera systems using existing RG-59, RG-6, or CAT 6 UTP cabling.
HDCVI technology seamlessly integrates traditional analog surveillance systems with upgraded, high-quality HD video, making it the best choice to protect security investments.
The plug and play approach enables full HD video surveillance without the hassles of configuring a network.
Dahua HDCVI cameras can switch between HDCVI, CVBS, AHD, and TVI formats via the OSD menu or the switch located on the video output cable, making the camera compatible with not only HDCVI DVRs but also most existing HD/ SD DVRs.
