The Dahua Thermal Network Bullet camera combines an uncooled VOx Microbolometer sensor with an athermalized lens to produce high contrast thermal images. The camera produces clear images in total darkness, and delivers usable images in fog, rain, and snow, offering covert surveillance without the need for external light. The camera series offers Fire Detection and Alarm features that identify an abnormal rise in temperature and sends an alert to warn of a potential fire. Dahua thermal cameras are ideal for forestry, border/perimeter security, and industrial applications. The camera’s also support Dahua’s exclusive ePoE technology.

The All-in-One Compact Thermal Camera
The word “Eureka” comes from the Greek meaning “I have found it!” and is an appropriate name for the new entry-level dual-lens thermal cameras from Dahua. The Eureka Series is ideal for small to mid-size businesses that need to detect movement of people or vehicles in dark environments or in scenes with objects that obscure a visible-light lens. In addition to human/vehicle detection, the Eureka series also detects rapid rises in temperatures and can even detect people smoking thanks to its high-contrast and thermal sensitivity.
Values of the Thermal Solution
The Eureka Series offers a thermal lens and a visible light lens in one compact housing. The thermal sensor delivers 256 x 192 effective pixels, delivers 156% higher resolution as compared to 160 x 120 thermal sensors. The visible-light sensor offers 4 MP at 30 fps resolution for crisp, high-resolution video in real time.
Eureka Series cameras come with WizSense technology, Dahua’s powerful analytics engine with an intuitive and easy to use interface. WizSense devices offer analytic functions that focus on human and vehicular images and offer specialized thermal analytics to detect fires and smoking.
Eureka Series cameras seamlessly integrate with the Dahua DMSS digital mobile surveillance system app. DMSS lets users view real-time alerts, acknowledge alarms, and trigger the Eureka camera’s built-in white-light illuminator and speaker to warn off intruders.

Fire & Smoking Detection
With built-in fire and smoking detection, Eureka cameras detect a rapid rise in temperature and also the heat signature from a lit cigarette. Once detected, the camera can issue a visible and an audible alert warning of a potential fire or to enforce a workplace smoking policy.
Eureka Series cameras are equipped with a white-light illuminator and an external speaker that can be triggered when the camera detects an abnormal event either via the thermal or the visible-light sensor. The camera also takes a snapshot of the scene, records the snapshot, and pushes an alert to DSS Express and DMSS.
