Corporate Social Responsibility

Shortly after establishing our headquarters in Irvine, California, Dahua USA started exploring volunteer opportunities and charitable giving initiatives to give back to the community that had welcomed us. In 2016, Dahua partnered with South County Outreach (SCO), and in 2017 we began working with Mission 500.

SCO is a local nonprofit organization that has assisted low-income families in south Orange County since 1989. Their motto is “End hunger. House hope,” which the organization accomplishes through homeless prevention, a food pantry, and an educational computer learning lab.

How Dahua Supports South County Outreach

  • Monetary donations from employees and from Dahua
  • Food and clothing drives
  • SCO event sponsorships
  • Upscale Resale video surveillance solution

SCO operates the Upscale Resale thrift store, which is open to the public, to support its mission and assist with costs. When Dahua learned of ongoing theft problems there, we stepped in to do what we do best! To prevent shoplifting, a complete Dahua security solution was donated and installed free of charge, with the support of one of our dealer partners. Read about how this Dahua security solution is making a difference here.

Mission 500 is a nonprofit organization that unites companies in the security industry to support communities in crisis around the world. Through corporate sponsorships and donations, Mission 500 is now helping more than 1,100 children, has contributed over 27,000 meals, and has raised more than $4 million in cash, products, and service donations.

How Dahua Supports Mission 500

Dahua USA is thrilled to sponsor Mission 500’s annual Security Softball Game. All proceeds from the event go to the Show Orange Campaign, an initiative formed to help children living in poverty in America.
