Advanced Product Technologies

Thermal Temperature Monitoring Solution

Thermal Temperature Monitoring technology enables quick detection of elevated skin temperatures. Thermal imaging equipment can easily be installed and implemented in environments such as hospitals, clinics, office buildings and cruise ships.

Enhanced Power over Ethernet

ePoE technology offers a plug‐and‐play solution to transmit power and data over long distances via Ethernet or coaxial cables, reducing installation time and saving money. ePoE technology is a viable, cost‐effective solution for extending transmission distances up to eight times over CAT5/CAT6 cables and for converting existing, coax‐based analog systems into IP systems.

Panoramic Technology

We don’t like to miss anything and neither should you. Dahua panoramic cameras provide 180°, 270°, and 360° view options that provide wide-area video surveillance for increased situational awareness. Fisheye and Multi-sensor cameras replace multiple single-sensor cameras providing easier installation and a higher return on investment.

Low Light Technology

Specifying a security camera for low-light environments isn’t a one size fits all solution. Each application has its own set of challenges, lighting constraints and budget requirements. Dahua offers four low-light technology tiers, Basic Starlight, Enhanced Starlight, Starlight+ and Night Color Technology to make it easy to choose the correct camera that fits your needs and your budget.

Analytics

Proactively manage your video surveillance while maximizing customer engagement with real-time analytics. Dahua’s broad range of analytics offerings provide three levels to meet any installation situation: Premium Intelligent Video Systems (IVS) for basic data, WizSense: Simplified Analytics for Accurate Results and WizMind: Advanced Analytics for Ultimate Performance.

Thermal Imaging

The Dahua Thermal Network Bullet camera combines an uncooled VOx Microbolometer sensor with an athermalized lens to produce high contrast thermal images. The camera produces clear images in total darkness, and delivers usable images in fog, rain, and snow, offering covert surveillance without the need for external light.

HDCVI

HDCVI technology lowers total cost of ownership by leveraging existing infrastructure. By simplifying system design and mitigating rip-and-replacement costs to install a new IP infrastructure, HDCVI multi-format cameras deliver greater performance at a lower overall cost.

Smart Motion Detection (SMD)

Smart Motion Detection (SMD), a component of Dahua’s Analytics+ technology, improves alarm accuracy and decreases the number of false alarms. The advanced SMD algorithm analyzes a scene for human or vehicle motion, while filtering out other motion due to trees, leaves, animals, weather, and triggers an alarm when detected. In addition, the Quick Target Search function classifies and extracts people and vehicles from the video database, letting users find and analyze historical information quickly and easily, while displaying a more accurate tracking box around a moving subject.

ArcticPro

The Dahua ArcticPro Series of extreme-environment cameras combine temperature-tolerant components with a waterproof enclosure to ensure flawless operation in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C). Most ArcticPro cameras are IP67-rated to prevent moisture from entering the housing, and many of the cameras achieve operation in such low temperatures without the use of the heater. The lack of a heater reduces the camera’s power consumption and saves operating costs. Specific cameras offer a combination of Night Color Technology, Analytics+ functionality, Enhanced Power over Ethernet long-distance transmission, or multiple-sensors for 180°/360° scenes. For applications that demand high-resolution video with advanced analytics or superior night-time images in extremely cold environments, the Dahua ArcticPro Series offers a camera to satisfy the most demanding requirements.

Video Intercom

The Dahua video intercom system is designed for multi-tenant apartment and commercial buildings, and single tenant educational facilities, estate residences and medical facilities. It allows tenants, property managers, and owners to manage keyless entry and visually communicate in real-time with property visitors. Flexible with existing cabling, our video intercom solution supports multiple communication paths and technologies, making it an ideal solution for new and existing installations.

Access Control

The Physical Access Control System (PACS) from Dahua Technology is designed for small- and medium-sized businesses to easily secure their people, property, and assets. It’s a complete solution that combines entrance management with native biometrics and video surveillance to provide the information companies require to quickly resolve incidents and to improve safety in and around commercial facilities.

Smart H.265+

Smart H.265+ is Dahua’s optimized implementation of H.265. This compression codec drastically reduces bit rates for an even higher savings on storage and bandwidth – up to 80% over standard H.264. Operators can configure Smart H.265+ to tailor encoding to a particular application or scene, adding flexibility and sophisticated image enhancement. Smart H.265+ offers a multi-pronged approach to reducing the quantity of data without degrading the image quality. Learn more in our Smart H.265+ video.

4K

Ultra-High Definition (UHD) 4K is the video surveillance resolution of the future, delivering four times the resolution of HD 1080p cameras for superior picture quality and image clarity. 4K resolution improves the clarity of a magnified scene to view and record crisp forensic video, an excellent choice for applications that require both fine detail and broad coverage. Dahua offers 4K in IP camera models, and was first-to-market with a 4K over coax (HDCVI) solution.
