The word “Eureka” comes from the Greek meaning “I have found it!” and is an appropriate name for the new entry-level dual-lens thermal cameras from Dahua. The Eureka Series is ideal for small to mid-size businesses that need to detect movement of people or vehicles in dark environments or in scenes with objects that obscure a visible-light lens. Fire & Smoking Detection
With built-in fire and smoking detection, Eureka cameras detect a rapid rise in temperature and also the heat signature from a lit cigarette. Once detected, the camera can issue a visible and an audible alert warning of a potential fire or to enforce a workplace smoking policy.
Smart Alarm
Eureka Series cameras are equipped with a white-light illuminator and an external speaker that can be triggered when the camera detects an abnormal event either via the thermal or the visible-light sensor. The camera also takes a snapshot of the scene, records the snapshot, and pushes an alert to DSS Express and DMSS.
