The 8MP/4K IR PTZ camera features a 1/1.7-in. low-light STARVIS™ CMOS imager with a 30x optical zoom lens and auto-tracking for long-distance video surveillance.
The PTZ features Smart H.265+ video compression, reducing bandwidth and storage requirements without sacrificing video quality. As a result, high quality video is maintained without straining the network.
This 4K camera captures video with wide-angle overviews with multiple focus points while maintaining the ability to digitally zoom in and focus on the fine details. Thanks to the camera’s true day/night IR cut filter, Smart IR, and defog, images are crisp and clear in both day or nighttime applications.
For a more efficient surveillance system, the camera features onboard analytics (IVS) so that violations to user-set rules can be quickly identified.
The camera’s Smart IR technology adjusts the intensity of the camera’s infrared LEDs to compensate for the distance of an object, preventing the IR LEDs from whitening out images as they come closer to the camera. This series is suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.
